A wildlife enthusiast since I was a child, growing up in Northeast England on Tyneside in the 1970s, I have always had an interest in nature and photography. In 2004, after a 20 years career in banking, I decided to quit and sell up to travel the world. Since 2005 I have guided on all seven continents to a wide variety of destinations. My work for Birdquest and Wild Images takes me to some amazing places! Currently, I live in East Lancashire with my partner Évi and our son, Alexander, who is a very keen climber.
My present repertoire of talks is ‘Wild Alaska’; ‘Antarctica, The Falklands & South Georgia’; 'Australia's Northern Territory''; 'Belarus’; 'Wildlife of Brazil's Pantanal'; 'Colorado's High Plains & Rocky Mountains'; 'Indian Wildlife'; ‘Japan’s Winter Wildlife’; ‘Kenya’s Maasai Mara’; 'Ladakh in Winter: Snow Leopards, Ibisbills & more'; 'Madagascar: Wildlife of the Eighth Continent'; 'Oman'; 'Svalbard: A Polar Wilderness' and 'Wildlife Photography Techniques'.
